I ran into a minor issue whereby when this shortcode [wps-mail-post] is located at or near the bottom of a longer page and when in it's Shortcode Options the checkbox "Show by default" is checked on, the post form will act as an anchor on a page refresh, etc. That is, the page will not start to display at the top when run, but at the anchor (shortcode).

Workaround: Do not check "Show by default" in [wps-mail-post] options.

1st question are you putting it on another page other than the message page? Try this [wps-mail-to-user] to the WordPress Page, Post or Text widget. You should have better results.

2nd here again, did you check got any errors on the page

It is not advisable to put that code on anything but the message page as you see the problem. What page or pages are you trying to use that on?

I have it on another page, with a bunch of other shortcodes. Look at it on the attachment - you won't believe how well WPS Pro operates otherwise!

The boxes and accordion, etc., are from Shortcodes Ultimate. The theme is Memberlite from PaidMembershipPro.

My debug.log file is pretty clean of outright errors. The only thing that I am having issues with now is the [wps-gallery-grid] shortcode.

Everything else WORKS!!!!! (for now...)

This is the only stuff in the debug.log. It repeats a few times.

If you look at wp admin > wps pro >  setup.  look down the page to the Private Messages settings tab there you will see that it was assigned a page that is where to short-codes are made to be.  along with other page as well that have assigned pages. they (the shortcodes) were not made to be mixed and matched. I cannot do otherwise with them at this time. You are looking at a lot of code changes that will take a lot of time and I cannot do that at this point in time to rewrite the entire plugin.

What you are doing is trying to customise  WPS PRO to suit your needs and I cannot do that for you. it took forever to get it to where it is today and keeping it that way with all the changes WordPress is making is a fulltime job in itself.

Thanks, Robert. I did not pay enough attention to the distinction that some shortcodes are page-assigned, while others are not.

That's not a problem at all.  there are times they work and others not, because normally (Wp) grabs the first script it sees and forgets the rest.  that's the issue.

Them people try to minify  css and js in a cache that totally messed up everything. Unless the scrips are in the right orderthe pages  do not work right and every page loads  a little different
